Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure required.
• Minimum of 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Home health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Delivers therapy services in the patient's home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits as per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with disciplines to address team goals.
• Plans care to meet speech therapy intervention goals.
• Participates in educational opportunities to update knowledge.
• Accepts ownership for new requests and explores value-adding opportunities.

Requirements

• 6 months of full-time clinical experience

• Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
