Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed SLPA to deliver pediatric speech therapy in patients' homes or day facilities. The role requires minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience and a Texas SLPA license.

Experience with pediatrics and home health is preferred, and bilingual ability is a plus. The team emphasizes mentorship, ongoing professional development, and collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.

• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address patient goals.
• Plans care to meet speech therapy intervention goals.
• Keeps up with job knowledge through educational opportunities and publications.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by taking initiative and adding value.

• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
