Job summary

Health Here in the United States is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home, senior living, and virtual care to older adults. You will evaluate, treat, and document progress, collaborating with PTs, OTs, and staff to support aging in place.

The role emphasizes autonomy, compassionate care, and evidence-based practice across multiple care settings. Strong communication, CPR certification, and ASHA CCC are valued as you help patients regain speech and swallowing abilities

Qualifications

  • State licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Degree from an accredited SLP program.
  • Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
  • CPR certified and ASHA CCC credential.

Job description

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing in-home, senior living, and virtual care to older adults.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy in private residences and senior living communities.
  • Perform evaluations, develop care plans, and provide evidence-based treatments to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.
  • Document patient progress accurately within EMR systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, OTs, and fitness specialists.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging-in-place strategies.
  • Utilize telehealth and virtual care to enhance access and flexibility.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Degree from an accredited SLP program.
  • Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
  • Current CPR certification and ASHA CCC credential.

Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to perform in-home care activities, including lifting, repositioning patients, and driving. Must wear PPE when necessary.
