Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide personalized care to older adults in private homes and senior living communities. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve communication and swallowing.

Telehealth options expand access, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures comprehensive care in the community.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology.
• Degree from an accredited program and current CCC from ASHA.
• Proficiency in computer systems and EMR software.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to support communication and swallowing.
• Document patient progress in EMR accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Utilize telehealth and virtual care to enhance access and flexibility.

Role:

Speech Language Pathologist providing personalized care to older adults in private homes and senior living communities.

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to support mobility, independence, and wellness.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Utilize telehealth and virtual care to enhance access and flexibility.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology.
• Degree from an accredited program and current CCC from ASHA.

Physical & Other Requirements:

Ability to perform moderate physical effort, assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and operate a vehicle for home visits. Must wear PPE when necessary.
