Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to promote and specify Siteworks trench drain solutions among civil and plumbing engineers across the South Central region. This role emphasizes establishing Siteworks as a design basis in project specifications, driving penetration, and growing sales.

The successful candidate will travel 50-75% and collaborate with distributor reps, provide technical trainings, and leverage CRM to manage opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specification and driving product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with key civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US.
• Educate engineers on the features, benefits, and applications of the Siteworks product lines including trench and interceptors.
• Proactively position Zurn Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications for various applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
• Utilize CRM to document interactions, track project specifications, and manage opportunities.
• Leverage Dodge Construction Network and ConstructConnect to identify upcoming projects and support sales.
