Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation seeks a dynamic Specification Business Development Manager to promote Siteworks trench drain solutions among engineers across the US. The role emphasizes becoming the basis of design in specifications, driving market penetration and sales growth.

Territory includes Southwest and requires 50–75% travel. Ideal candidates have a engineering/business degree, 3+ years in spec development, and strong presentation skills to educate engineers and influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specifications and drive product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand and communicate complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Active participation in relevant industry associations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US.
• Promote Siteworks products through presentations, lunch-and-learns, seminars, and onsite trainings.
• Position Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications for various applications.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify opportunities for product substitutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives and sales teams to maximize market penetration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
• Utilize the CRM to document interactions and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
• Monitor market trends using platforms like Dodge Construction Network and ConstructConnect.
