Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation seeks a dynamic Specification Business Development Manager to promote Siteworks trench drain solutions across civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site development engineers in the Southwest US. The role focuses on establishing Siteworks as a design basis and expanding market penetration.

The position requires at least 3 years in specification BD within plumbing, strong technical communication, and the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing industry.
• Ability to influence engineering specifications and drive product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with key civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site engineers across the US and pursue opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with engineers, specifiers, and design professionals to influence product selection.
• Educate engineers on Siteworks features, benefits, and applications; deliver presentations and seminars to drive awareness.
• Position Zurn Siteworks as the basis of design in project specifications for varied project types.
• Collaborate with sales teams and manufacturer reps to maximize market penetration and alignment of strategies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners; document activities in CRM and track opportunities.
