Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Retail Pharmacy - Specialty Drug Management team. This full-time hybrid role features a 40-hour schedule, Monday–Friday, with a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include completing area-specific tasks, serving as an expert with specialized equipment, solving technical issues, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication, teamwork, and confidentiality are essential in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy technician certification and state licensure per employment state requirements.
• Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete area-specific pharmacy tasks per standard processes and policies.
• Act as an expert with equipment and technology in the specialty area.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely record updates.
• Communicate with patients and care team; maintain confidentiality.
• Support quality improvement and workflow standardization efforts.
