Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the Los Angeles area. You will provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help navigate the payer environment, acting as the primary customer contact and implementing marketing strategy under the District Manager.

Responsibilities include delivering branded sales messages, conducting programs, and building relationships to manage accounts, product access, and reimbursement discussions

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales/healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for medical professionals.
• Experience with payer environments and product access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits.
• Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting programs, and engaging in educational activities.
• Develop and manage accounts, tailoring discussions to customer needs and ensuring product access and payer considerations.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain brand integrity throughout the sales cycle.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Associate's degree + 4 years of Sales experience

High school diploma/GED + 6 years of Sales experience
