Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help navigate the payer environment in the Los Angeles region.

The role acts as the primary customer contact and is responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager. Strong emphasis on sales targets and physician engagement through in-person and virtual visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree with 4+ years of Sales experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6+ years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative requires a Bachelor’s with 3+ years in sales or healthcare/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen’s products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage access/reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle and uphold company values.
