Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative in the United States to connect with medical professionals, provide clinical product knowledge, and navigate complex payer environments. The role reports to the District Manager and focuses on implementing marketing strategies and promoting Amgen products across assigned territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related (optional)

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement and by delivering branded sales messages.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, and manage contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze sales activities to develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Uphold Amgen values and maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle.
