Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative): Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative): Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related; Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related; High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead as a sales leader to achieve territory sales through branded messages and programs.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including access and reimbursement discussions.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
