Job summary

Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village, OH, is seeking a full-time F&I Finance Manager to handle credit-challenged deals from application to funding, review credit, structure deals, gather stipulations, and fund quickly. You will work with subprime lenders and our sales team to match buyers with the right vehicle and payment.

Present F&I products transparently, stay compliant with ECOA and Safeguards, track metrics, and grow approval rates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dealership special finance, F&I or subprime auto lending.
• Working knowledge of subprime lender guidelines and deal structuring.
• Strong integrity and attention to detail with financial documents.
• A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• AFIP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work credit-challenged deals from application through funding: review credit, structure deals, gather stipulations and get contracts funded fast.
• Build and keep strong relationships with subprime and specialty lenders and grow approval rates.
• Match customers to the right vehicle and payment for their budget and lender guidelines, working with sales and the desk.
• Follow up on special-finance leads with the BDC and marketing so no applicant falls through the cracks.
• Present F&I products (service contracts, GAP, maintenance plans) transparently and compliantly on your deals, and back up the prime F&I office when it's busy.
• Keep every deal compliant: ECOA, OFAC, Red Flags, the FTC Safeguards Rule, and accurate, complete deal jackets.
• Track volume, approval rate, funding time and gross, and report results to management.

Job description

Pay: Base salary + commission on funded deals and F&I product income. Realistic first-year earnings: $70K–$120K+.

Mike Bass Ford | Mazda has been family-owned in Sheffield Village since 1977. Our campus includes Ford, Mazda, a commercial truck center, a body shop and a Quick Lane, with 100+ team members. Customers come back to us because we treat them right, including the ones other stores turn away. Our special finance department helps people with credit challenges get into a reliable vehicle and rebuild their credit.

Schedule and setting
Full-time, roughly 45–50 hours a week with one weekday off. On-site at 5050 Detroit Rd. Sheffield Village OH.
