Job summary

Vertex Education seeks a detail-oriented ESS Compliance Assistant to help ensure all Special Education files (IEP/504) are compliant across campuses. You will track enrollments, manage records requests, and support the ESS Compliance Coordinator with data collection and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a school setting and strong customer service skills, with familiarity in e-IEP PRO and PowerSchool. Local travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a school environment.
• Two or more years of experience in a customer service related field.
• Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Manage original special education & 504 files for all campuses.
• Track and update due dates with stakeholders.
• Create and manage charts, documents, and reports as needed.
• Assist Compliance Coordinator and Director with data collection activities.
• Process invoices and requisitions for services, supplies, and materials.
• Manage reports within e-IEP PRO.
• Attend meetings to record minutes as needed.
• Process enrollments and 504 records requests from campuses.
