Job summary

Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School seeks a Compliance Coordinator to oversee district-wide special education timelines and documentation under IDEA, DC regulations, and Section 504. You will coordinate MDT meetings, ensure LOIs and PWNs are issued, and maintain accurate records across campuses.

The role emphasizes collaboration with campus APs, OSSE reporting, and family communication, with a focus on equity and timely, compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• 2+ years prior experience in classroom-, campus- or sector-level special education case management and compliance.
• Advanced, native or intermediate proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a continually updated database of students with IEPs and 504s, service hours, due dates, and case managers.
• Ensure OSSE guidance is reflected in Special Programs and reports are updated.
• Generate PWNs and share them with families, documenting in Special Programs.
