Wayzata Public Schools ISD 284 seeks an Administrative Professional/Paraprofessional to assist Special Education licensed staff with academic adaptations and self-care support for students in various settings.

Ideal candidates will have experience with emotional/behavioral challenges and trauma-informed practices to foster a structured, supportive environment that promotes student growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Highly Qualified Status Required; 2 year post-secondary training preferred.
• Must be flexible to work in various settings with students and staff.
• May lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Assist in eating and toileting needs of students.
• Maintain data privacy and confidentiality for all students.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education licensed staff with academic adaptations and student support.
• Support students in general education, special education, or community settings.
• Focus on students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
