Qualifications

• Must possess a valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license from ISBE.
• Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of college credit or a paraprofessional exam.
• Ability to work with students with various disabilities and ages birth to twenty-one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reinforcing instruction for students with various disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and support for students with IEPs.
• Assist with daily living skills and caretaking tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate written records of student behavior and progress.
• Support teachers during field trips and class activities.
