Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a Case Manager within the Office of Diverse Learner Supports and Services to ensure high-quality instructional supports for students with disabilities. You will coordinate IDEA/504 timelines, prepare IEP materials, and collaborate with school staff to implement plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education, an active PEL in the listed areas, and at least two years of experience, with strong data-driven and communication skills to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a Master’s in educational administration.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education or School Support Personnel with supervisory endorsement.
• Two or more years of experience in special education and knowledge of IDEA/504 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local school district representative at all required meetings under the IDEA and 504.
• Chair IEP and 504 conferences and act as the District Representative.
• Ensure all IDEA and Section 504 timelines are met and data are entered timely in SSM.
