Chicago Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to oversee special education services under IDEA and 504. The role acts as district liaison, coordinates evaluations, chairs IEP/504 meetings, and ensures timely, compliant service delivery for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities include data entry, service planning, and collaboration with ODLSS and school staff to implement IEPs and 504 plans. A valid PEL and strong knowledge of federal and state requirements are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Enter relevant student data timely into SSM and manage IEP/504 documentation.
• Arrange related services and coordinate with ODLSS for school placements when needed.
• Train and support staff on IDEA and 504 requirements and participate in professional development.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or Master’s in educational administration

Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education or School Support Personnel endorsement
