Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Case Manager to serve as the district representative for IDEA and 504 processes, coordinating evaluations, IEP/504 meetings, and service delivery in alignment with CPS policies. The role emphasizes collaboration with principals, families, and ODLSS to ensure compliant implementation of plans.

The position requires a Master’s in educational administration or special education, plus a valid PEL in Special Education and experience in special education.

Qualifications

• Experience in special education curriculum and service provision.
• Knowledge of MTSS or RTI frameworks.
• Ability to communicate with diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as local school district representative at required meetings under IDEA.
• Chair IEP and 504 conferences and act as District Representative.
• Ensure timelines for IDEA and Section 504 are met and parental consents are procured.
• Coordinate referrals for FIEs and related evaluations within 60 school days.
