Qualifications

• Educational Aide certification or willingness to acquire it from TEA.
• Ability to assist students with self-help, mobility, and behavioral needs.
• Interest in one-on-one support for students with significant needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education and General Education teachers with supervising students in all instructional settings.
• Support behavior management using modeling and positive reinforcement.
• Maintain data aligned to IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and reinforce concepts.
• Provide one-to-one support for students with significant needs.
• Administer and score tests and assignments as directed.
