Job summary

Smith+Nebhew is seeking a Spatial Surgery Development Manager to accelerate adoption of the TESSA platform across a defined region in the United States. You will drive market development, engage customers, create opportunities, and manage the sales pipeline to exceed targets.

You will train surgeons and staff, ensure successful trials and onboarding, and report to the Area VP of Sales - Service & Enabling Technology. This role requires highly strategic, entrepreneurial leadership and 90% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of orthopedic medical device sales experience (sports medicine, capital equipment including video, robotics, navigation, or enabling technology is preferred)
• Strong clinical, presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders: surgeons, administrators, executives
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

• Accelerate commercialization, adoption and utilization of Smith+Nephew's spatial surgery platform (TESSA) across a defined region
• Develop and manage territory pipeline; exceed revenue and sales targets
• Train and certify surgeons, staff and reps; ensure flawless trial prep and onboarding
• Lead market development, customer engagement and opportunity creation
• Execute sales plans and collaborate with Area VP of Sales for strategy and execution
