Job summary

S&ME's Spark Internship program invites current students to join a twelve-week summer internship (May 2027–August 2027) across Civil, Environmental, Construction, Geotechnical, and Transportation Design-Build service lines. Interns will work with experienced employee-owners and gain hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to a multidisciplinary firm culture.

These are full-time internship positions with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred;
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred;
• At least 18 years of age;
• Out of town travel may be required;
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required;
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.
