Job summary

S&ME Inc. invites students to join the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program in Civil/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering. You will work with experienced professionals, join an intern cohort, and gain hands-on experience across S&ME’s service lines during a 12-week summer term.

The program offers professional development and exposure to project opportunities, with compensation based on experience. Housing is not provided; successful candidates must meet eligibility and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professionals within your area of interest as part of the Spark Internship Program.
• Be part of an intern cohort and learn about all aspects of S&ME, with access to technical experts across the company.
• Participate in professional development to help transition from campus to career.
