Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Medical Scribe (Spanish bilingual) to support providers with accurate clinical documentation in real time. You will observe visits, document encounters, and help close care gaps within a value-based care model.

Ideal candidates have medical terminology knowledge, clinical exposure, and strong typing skills. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with benefits, ongoing on-site training, and a supportive team in our clinics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience or shadowing highly preferred.
• Scribe role involves accurate, timely documentation in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in a structured note with HPI, assessment, plan and exam.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes; prepare after-visit summaries.
• Support daily huddles and clinical documentation reviews; assist with referrals and orders.
