Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real-time documentation in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will join providers in exam rooms, document encounters, assign CPT/ICD-10 codes, and help with after-visit summaries, while learning value-based care workflows.

Ideal candidates show strong medical knowledge, excellent listening skills, and the ability to work in person for about 40 hours per week. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Advanced listening and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new workflows.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in structured notes with HPI, assessment, plan, and exam.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Prepare After Visit Summaries.
• Support daily huddles and documentation reviews.
