Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and candidates must be patient, compassionate, and collaborative. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and could require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years old and a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and a TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
