Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer training and growth, a pay range of $20-$29 per hour, and a supportive environment. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking during the day.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test within the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Guide and support children to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed.
