Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA, implementing individualized plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, compassion, teamwork, and the ability to move in various positions. Training is provided, and you may be required to lift up to 50 pounds while ensuring a safe, supportive environment

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support safe interactions and caregiver-family collaboration.
