Job summary

Centr ia Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided, and the job includes light-to-moderate physical activity, with a focus on empowering children to reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors to support child development.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
