Job summary

NMDP is seeking a Donor Services Representative to engage donors within the registry, locating updated contact information, confirming interest, and assessing health conditions for potential donation. You will coordinate donor outreach with internal teams, maintain confidentiality, and ensure timely documentation.

The role requires professional telephone etiquette in a fast-paced, inbound/outbound call environment with strong customer service and data integrity focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a health care related field is required; equivalent related health care experience and/or education may be substituted.
• Three plus years of professional experience communicating with individuals or coaching behavior change; customer relations or direct patient interaction in healthcare setting may be substituted for behavioral coaching experience.
• Experience with basic word processing and data entry is required.

Responsibilities

• Locates donors using data provided at recruitment; uses internet search tools, paid search engines, and social media to locate updated contact information.
• Educates donors to reinforce commitment and retention messages; asks open-ended questions to overcome barriers and assess next steps in donation process.
• Conducts donor health screening and assesses medical conditions and non-medical factors to determine participation; engages Medical Services and Donor Advocacy as needed.
