Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced analyst to perform thermal and fluid analyses for spaceflight systems, defining hardware requirements and resolving technical challenges. You will own or support 1D-3D simulations and contribute across the product lifecycle from concept to flight mission.

You will collaborate with systems engineering, design, and procurement, conducting propulsion system trade studies and presenting results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in space-app fluids and propulsion analysis.
• Strong MATLAB programming skills.
• Knowledge of thermal and fluid mechanics of cryogenics, hypergolics, and compressibles.
• Experience with Thermal Desktop, SINDA, FLUINT.
• Experience running propulsion system trade studies.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build trust.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and fluid analyses for spaceflight systems, deriving component and system requirements.
• Document and present analysis inputs, models, and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, design, and procurement to verify requirements and support sizing/trade studies.
