Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks a spacecraft thermal engineer to define and develop Active Thermal Control System components for the Human Landing System. You will work with NASA and National Team Partners to deliver hardware such as cold plates, radiators, valves, and heat exchangers, ensuring safety and reliability in a fast-paced mission environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• 3 years of relevant Thermal/Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Ability to perform basic thermal analysis using hand calcs.
• Experience assembling and testing hardware.
• Familiarity with aerospace hardware verification and validation processes.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Active Thermal Control System components for spacecraft.
• Perform integration and verification of thermal hardware.
• Collaborate with NASA and National Team Partners on HLS and related programs.
• Support design efforts for pumped fluid loop systems and semi-passive devices.
• Contribute to thermal analysis and testing activities with documentation.
