Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks a spacecraft thermal engineer to define and develop Active Thermal Control System components for the Human Landing System. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
  • 3 years of relevant Thermal/Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Ability to perform basic thermal analysis using hand calcs.
  • Experience assembling and testing hardware.
  • Familiarity with aerospace hardware verification and validation processes.
  • Experience with CAD software, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver Active Thermal Control System components for spacecraft.
  • Perform integration and verification of thermal hardware.
  • Collaborate with NASA and National Team Partners on HLS and related programs.
  • Support design efforts for pumped fluid loop systems and semi-passive devices.
  • Contribute to thermal analysis and testing activities with documentation.
