Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an engineer to lead thermal systems engineering for the Blue Moon Crew Lander, working closely with NASA as part of the Human Landing System program. You will design, build, test, and verify Active Thermal Control components and fluid routing, and provide integration guidance across the hardware lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience in thermal design, 3D CAD (Creo), and spacecraft hardware verification, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant thermal or mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong 3D CAD design and hardware integration skills.
• Experience with assembly, testing, and hardware verification processes.
• Familiarity with spacecraft Active Thermal Control hardware and components.
• Experience with CAD tools; Creo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate thermal components for Blue Moon Crew Lander as part of HLS Crew Lander Thermal Systems Engineering Vehicle Team.
• Lead Active Thermal Control fluid routing design, build, integration, testing, and verification activities.
• Produce test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct tests; review test data and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Provide manufacturing and production support and guidance for hardware integration.
