Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to develop and integrate thermal components for the Blue Moon Crew Lander under the HLS Crew Lander Thermal Systems Engineering Vehicle Team. You will drive active thermal control design, build, integration and testing across the vehicle, collaborating with NASA on flight hardware.

The role emphasizes fast-paced problem solving, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure safe, qualified hardware before vehicle assembly and system tests.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Experience in thermal engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with hardware verification and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with spacecraft Active Thermal Control hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
  • Provide technical guidance for integration.
  • Create test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware.
  • Plan, coordinate, conduct tests, and review test data.
  • Maintain and report on schedule, budget and technical status.
