Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Thermal Engineer to join the Lunar Core Components Heat Transfer team on the Blue Moon program. In this role you will contribute to hardware development, sizing, build, and test of thermal systems for lunar landers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and mission success.

The position emphasizes heat transfer, fluid systems, CAD design (Creo), and CFD verification, with opportunities for growth in advanced aerospace hardware and process

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of thermal engineering experience.
• Strong heat transfer and fluid system fundamentals.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates and spacecraft hardware.
• Experience designing, sizing, building, and testing hardware.
• Understanding aerospace hardware verification and validation.
• Moderate CAD experience; Creo preferred.
• Familiarity with CFD for component-level analysis.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
