Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager with a strong engineering background to lead embedded systems programs for defense and space applications.

You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and contracts teams to ensure disciplined execution across cost, schedule, and scope. The role requires navigating ambiguous environments, driving accountability, and delivering complex programs with limited information while maintaining customer and contract commitments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/aerospace or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of program management in complex technical environments.
• Experience with defense/space programs and government contracting.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, startup-like settings.
• Knowledge of DFARS, ITAR, and subcontractor flow-downs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of defense/space programs.
• Own program performance across cost, schedule, technical scope, risk, quality, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess requirements and tradeoffs, manage risks.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reporting.
• Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, contracts, finance, and business development.
• Identify risks and blockers early; develop mitigation plans and drive closure.
• Operate in ambiguous settings, refine assumptions, and maintain priorities.
• Lead recovery efforts to return programs to a stable path.
• Support contract reviews, proposals, and statements of work.
• Ensure compliance with prime contracts and government requirements; ITAR/DFARS awareness.
