Job summary

Voyager Technologies in California seeks an experienced Project Engineer III to provide engineering leadership, technical coordination, and planning support for defense-related programs. This role works under moderate supervision, coordinating day-to-day tasks and cross-functional integration to meet technical objectives, schedules, and deliverables.

The engineer serves as a key technical liaison among disciplines, program management, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace, mechanical, electrical or related STEM field.
• Master’s degree preferred and may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical planning and execution of defense and aerospace engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and inchstone plans with program teams.
• Participate in cross-functional IPTs and coordinate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, systems, software).
• Assist with risk and opportunities tracking for the program.
• Contribute to engineering project plans and integration activities.
• Draft and review SOWs and support subcontract management.
• Assist in trade studies and make/buy analyses.
• Prepare for design reviews and customer meetings.
• Draft engineering documentation including test plans and interfaces.
• Ensure adherence to deliverables, CDRLs, and contract requirements.
