Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex embedded systems programs supporting defense and space applications. You will work closely with engineering teams, manage cost/schedule/scope, and drive disciplined execution in a startup‑like environment.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, computer, aerospace, systems, mechanical) or related field.
• 5+ years in program management or engineering leadership for complex technical programs.
• Experience in defense/space or regulated technical environments.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced or startup‑like settings.
• Familiarity with government contracting, DFARS/ITAR, and contract deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of defense/space programs.
• Manage cost, schedule, scope, risk, and customer satisfaction across programs.
• Collaborate with engineering to assess tradeoffs and ensure contract alignment.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, risk registers, and executive status reports.
• Drive cross‑functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and contracts.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation and issue resolution.
• Provide clear program status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and customers.
• Lead recovery efforts to bring challenged programs back to stable execution.
