Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer V-PE (Team Manager) to lead large defense/aerospace programs from its Controllable Solid Propulsion group. You will guide system architecture, verification, and IPT execution while mentoring engineers and interfacing with DoD customers.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering. Hybrid/remote work options and travel are available, with U.S. export control compliance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field.
• 10 years of project engineering experience.
• Expertise in system integration and verification planning.
• Ability to lead technical execution across multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for defense/aerospace programs.
• Define system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and major subcontractors.
• Lead design reviews and integration plans with customer and DoD stakeholders.
• Manage deliverables and support cost estimation, proposals and capture.
