Job summary

GFT is seeking a Regional Growth Leader to drive growth for its Transportation Group in the Southeast. The role blends project leadership, client engagement, and business development, shaping transportation systems across state DOTs, municipalities, transit authorities, airports, and private clients.

The position requires senior market-facing leadership, managing regional growth strategies, pursuing major opportunities, and building enduring client partnerships.

Qualifications

15+ years in transportation/infrastructure/AEC industries with a track record in BD and client management.
Experience with DOTs, municipalities, transit agencies, airport authorities, and transportation clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement transportation growth strategies aligned with firm objectives.
Identify emerging markets, funding programs, and investment opportunities.
Lead strategic pursuits and capture planning for major transportation projects.
Mentor project managers in business development and client relationships.
Represent the firm at industry conferences and professional organizations.
