Job summary

GFT is seeking a Regional Transportation Growth Leader to drive growth across the Central/West region, partnering with operations, client service, project managers and marketing to identify opportunities and expand the client base. This senior role focuses on strategic growth, capture planning, and expanding GFT’s presence with state DOTs, local agencies, airports, and private-sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.>
• 15+ years of experience in transportation, infrastructure, or AEC industries.
• Experience with DOTs, municipalities, transit agencies, and airport authorities.
• Experience leading complex pursuits and capture efforts for transportation projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation growth strategies aligned with GFT’s objectives.
• Identify emerging markets, funding programs, and opportunities.
• Evaluate market trends and client priorities to guide strategy.
• Support expansion to new transportation clients and geographic markets.
• Lead or support pursuit and capture strategies for major projects.
• Coordinate with teams to develop pursuit strategies and wrap up Go/No-Go decisions.
