Job summary

GFT is seeking a Regional Growth Leader for its Transportation Group in the Southeast. This senior, hybrid role focuses on delivering growth across the Southeast transportation market, coordinating with DOTs, agencies, and private clients to expand the firm’s presence and backlog.

The candidate will lead strategic pursuits, manage client relationships, and shape regional business development efforts, reporting to the Transportation Group leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Planning, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation growth strategies aligned with the firm's objectives.
• Identify emerging transportation markets, funding programs, and investment opportunities.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and client priorities to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead strategic pursuits and support capture planning for major projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation agencies and key clients.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and proposal teams to develop winning pursuit strategies.
