Greek House Chefs is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional to assist the Executive Chef in daily operations, including preparation, seasoning, and cooking, while maintaining quality and freshness. You will help with menu prep, inventory, and ensuring sanitation and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities include leading the team during the chef’s absence, training junior staff, ensuring FIFO, and coordinating with vendors for supplies.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.

Responsabilités

• Ensures kitchen cleanliness meets health standards and equipment cleanliness.
• Leads kitchen team in chef's absence and guides junior staff.
• Oversees stock and ingredients, FIFO rotation and dating for quality.
• Maintains prepped service line and supports food preparation and presentation.
• Coordinates with Executive Chef to manage organization and training.
• Monitors food storage units for safety and quality.
• Assists in special events and ensures professional kitchen demeanor.
