Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Solutions Sales Representative for life safety, security, and fire protection. You will develop new opportunities through contractors and end-users, managing growth via new construction, renovations, and retrofits within your territory.

You will sell systems, achieve quotas, build relationships, create proposals and forecasts, and maintain product knowledge through training. Travel as needed; competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years meeting or exceeding sales quotas for fire alarm systems.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with contractors and end-users.
• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• NICET Level II certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Technical aptitude with drawings and codes.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell fire alarm, life safety, and related systems to contractors and end users.
• Meet or exceed annual quotas and forecast activity.
• Develop new market share through contractors and end users.
• Create proposals, estimates, and presentations; maintain CRM records.
• Conduct post-install follow-up and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with operations, finance, legal to obtain orders.
• Develop and execute tactical sales strategies for end users, developers, and engineers.
• Promote products using approved marketing materials.
