Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Solutions Sales Representative to grow our life safety, security, and fire protection business within the assigned territory in California. You will develop new opportunities with contractors and end-users across new construction, renovations, and retrofits.

Responsibilities include selling systems, achieving quotas, and building long-term customer relationships through consultative selling, while maintaining knowledge of our products and market.

Qualifications

• Two to five years meeting or exceeding quotas in selling fire alarm systems to contractors and end users.
• NICET II certification in fire alarm systems.
• Technical aptitude with drawings and codes.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Sell fire alarm, fire protection systems and related systems; achieve orders/booking and gross margin goals.
• Achieve annual quota assigned and maintain steady ramp-up performance.
• Develop new market share by selling to new customers via contractors and end users.
• Build customer relationships through consultative selling and promote our value proposition.
• Provide accurate forecast of activity and potential sales and follow up with prospects.
