Job summary

Dynatrace LLC is seeking a Solution Engineer to support the sales team with deep technical demos, PoCs, and cross‑functional collaboration across Dynatrace’s labs, Expert Services, CSMs, and marketing. Must live in or near Chicago and be able to travel up to 30% of the time.

You will translate technical value into business outcomes, partner with account executives, and present to C‑suite audiences at events and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
• 5+ years in the observability space.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with programming / scripting languages such as Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js and databases.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containers/Kubernetes/OpenShift/CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace’s product offerings at events and customer meetings.
• Identify new sales opportunities with sales reps and within existing accounts.
• Lead PoC creation and cloud-architecture discussions.
• Present Dynatrace’s vision to C-suite executives.
• Provide technical guidance in Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages.
• Present on-stage demonstrations at events or partner booths.
• Gather feedback to product management to improve market fit.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams as a technical contact.
