Coalesce is seeking a Sales Engineer (ANZ) ideally based in Sydney or Melbourne to drive technical sales through demonstrations, POCs, and strategic customer engagements across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner with Account Executives to translate complex data needs into scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering or data platform roles, including at least 2 years in sales engineering or similar technical sales role.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL and data transformation methodologies.
• Experience with agentic AI and governing AI in data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data governance and data observability concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake and ecosystem or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Experience running POCs.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven with customer-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel to support engagements and events.

• Engage in technical discussions with prospective clients to understand challenges and data requirements.
• Own technical relationship with prospects; run discovery, demos, and POCs; lead architecture reviews.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations showcasing capabilities.
