Job summary

Harmony is seeking a Solutions Engineer in New York to lead technical discovery, run tailored demos, and design evaluations in prospects’ environments. You will own the technical win, work closely with Account Executives, and drive trials to decision across IT, HR, and business stakeholders.

In this role you will deploy integrations, configure architectures, and address security reviews while partnering with Sales to win deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in solutions engineering or related roles.
• Strong depth with APIs, cloud infrastructure, networking, scripting, and debugging complex systems.
• Experience working with GTM teams and Sales in the deal cycle.
• Experience leading multi-customer implementations or onboarding projects.
• Self-directed problem solver in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery: uncover a prospect's tools, workflows, pain points, and success criteria; translate into a technical win plan.
• Deliver tailored demos that map to each prospect's environment and use cases for IT practitioners and executive buyers.
• Design and run evaluations and POCs: scope success criteria, configure and integrate the product, drive the trial to a decision.
• Own the technical win and remove blockers to close the deal.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, account planning, and forecasting technical risk.
• Lead security reviews, architecture discussions, RFPs, and integration questions.
• Dig into APIs, infrastructure, and code to solve complex challenges during evaluations.
• Build repeatable demo environments, trial playbooks, and tooling for faster sales cycles.
• Ensure clean handoff to Onboarding and post-sales to carry value through deployment.
• Feed insights to Product and Engineering about needs and gaps.
