Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in the United States is seeking a Solutions Consultant to align how we serve customers, provide solution guidance, and ensure value realization in their security transformation journey.

You will define technical solutions, evangelize PANW leadership across on‑prem, cloud, and security operations services, and lead engagements that deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering or graduate of Palo Alto Networks Academy Program.
• Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
• Influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders; prior pre‑sales experience is ideal.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Understanding of sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi‑product solutions.
• This is a field sales position with travel requirements; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans.
• Understand customer requirements and position, demonstrate and create high level designs across the PANW portfolio.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform and build customer relationships for productivity and security efficiency.
• Conduct discovery to articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialists to ensure adoption of solutions.
• Lead technical validation efforts based on best practices to drive a technical win in opportunities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources to ensure a one‑team approach and cohesive strategy.
• Promote end‑to‑end solutions including PANW and partner professional services to realize value sooner.
• Understand competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership in cybersecurity.
